Scottish Pentathlon Development Squad – Training Report

On Sunday 21 February, Scottish Pentathlon delivered the second of three initially planned Development Squad sessions for our aspiring athletes at Kilgraston School in Perthsire.

The day consisted of training and drills in fencing, swimming, shooting (laser) and running and was attended by eight budding athletes.

The all-day session was planned and delivered by the Scottish Pentathlon Development Coach Sam Sanderson, who again had nothing but praise for all the athletes in attendance.

The Development Coach commented that “all athletes on the squad are showing great enthusiasm and interest in learning new skills and developing their potential in this very challenging sport. It will be great to see how they continue to progress over the coming months and years”.

Details of the next Scottish Pentathlon Development Squad session will be communicated to athletes in due course and will appear on the Scottish Pentathlon website and social media pages.
