Scottish Pentathlon, in partnership with Strathallan School recently delivered a pentathlon taster day of fencing laser-pistol shooting/running (combined) for circa 90 pupils from the Strathallan School in Forgandenny, Perthshire.
The Scottish Pentathlon Development Coach Sam Sanderson delivered the laser-pistol and running sessions, whilst the fencing was delivered by Scottish Fencing’s and St. Andrews University Fencing Club Coach, Stan Stoodley.
All the sessions were very well received and fully attended by the fantastic Strathallan pupils.
The Director of Sport for Strathallan School Audrey Sime was glowing in her praise of both coaches for their enthusiasm and professional delivery and welcomed Scottish Pentathlon back again in the near future to deliver more pentathlon activities.
Everyone at Scottish Pentathlon would like to thank Strathallan School, Director of Sport Audrey Sime and PE Teacher and former Pentathlete Louise Helyer for their enthusiasm and support in making the event happen.
We look forward to more events at Strathallan School.
