Scottish Pentathlon will be holding a Combat Triathlon event at the Queen Anne High School, Dunfermline on Saturday 2 July 2016.
The focus of this event is to promote modern pentathlon activities in the area, to raise awareness of the new West Fife Fencing Club facility (expected to open in August 2016) where a new pentathlon club will operate from and to attract local children (11 – 16 on the day) into the sport of Pentathlon through fun activities.
A Combat Triathlon consists of fencing, then laser-pistol shooting and running combined i.e. shoot the laser targets then run a 40m – 100m loop before shooting more laser targets and finishing off with a run.
All activities will be delivered by fully trained and qualified coaches from Pentathlon GB/Scottish Pentathlon and Scottish Fencing.
Entries will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis, with a maximum of 40 places available.
