Scottish Pentathlon is the governing body for pentathlon in Scotland

Established in October 2014, Scottish Pentathlon is a new company, led by a new Chair and Board, with a clear goal to work with partners sportscotland, Pentathlon GB and others to lead and grow participation, membership and performance across the sport.

A new name, a new logo and a new ambition to support more people to become pentathletes!

Scottish Pentathlon is the new governing body set up in Scotland to help develop the sport of Modern Pentathlon with the support of sportscotland and Pentathlon GB.
It replaces the Scottish Modern Pentathlon Association (SMPA) and has in place a new Board led by a new Chair, Murdo Macdonald and a new plan for developing the sport. The new Board includes, Trish Prise, Kirsty Craig, Paul Wain and Colin Mackenzie.
This is a very positive step supported by sportscotland and Pentathlon GB who have committed to work with Scottish Pentathlon in their efforts to develop and promote the sport in Scotland.
