Following the release of various road maps from the UK Government and Home Nations, Pentathlon GB have been reviewing the guidance published by the DCMS, Sport England, and Home Nation partners, as well as updates issued by our component sport NGBs, to ensure our Return to Play guidance is up to date and accurate.
We are pleased to confirm that we have now published the updated version of our Return to Play guidance, which can be downloaded from the COVID-19 hub page.
Whilst outdoor grassroots activity can resume from Monday 29th March, indoor grassroots activity remains suspended until at least 12th April.
Competitions remain suspended until at least 1st May (as per our previous update) – and we will be publishing our Return to Competition guidance in due course.
It is important to note that whilst this guidance provides a summary of the activity permitted in each discipline, this is subject to change, depending on the progress of the various road maps in place. Pentathlon GB will endeavour to keep this document up to date as and when new guidance is issued, but it is strongly recommended that clubs/coaches ensure they have checked all individual NGB and Home Nation advice before proceeding with any activity.
