Coach Pathway
Pentathlon GB formally launched the new national coaching framework at the Coaching Conference in Bath in February 2024.
The new Framework, developed with support from Coach UK, is an exciting development and allows coaches from across the family of sports to engage in Modern Pentathlon, utilising their current single sport qualifications while also establishing a formal set of qualification standards for Laser Run coaches.
While we have had a good number of Laser Run coaches qualify through the previous courses and many are now active across our network of Regional Hubs, we will be putting on a number of new Level One Laser Run courses and hoping to train up a new group of Laser Run course Tutors to support active delivery of coaching in the Hubs and build capacity in our coaching workforce..
