Pentathlon GB has today (28.6.24) published a new 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲.
The new policy and accompanying procedures will cover the whole of GB including Scotland and provide consistency in safeguarding across all of our sport.
This will be supported by guidance and procedures, coming soon.

Anti Doping

Clean Sport
All athletes have the right to compete in sport knowing that they, and their competitors, are clean. Scottish Pentathlon believes in clean shooting and works in partnership with UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) and (through Pentathlon GB) with our International Federation, the UIPM, to ensure that the integrity of Modern Pentathlon is protected.
Anti-Doping Rules

Through our partnership with Pentathlon GB, Scottish Pentathlon has in place a set of anti-doping rules that all athletes and athlete support personnel must abide by. The anti-doping rules for our sport are consistent with the World Anti-Doping Code (the Code), the core document that harmonises anti-doping policies, rules and regulations within sport globally.

Scottish Pentathlon falls under the jurisdiction of Pentathlon GB in terms of directly adopting our anti-doping rules and code that we have in place.

All information regarding the anti-doping code and rules can be found here on the PGB website: www.pentathlongb.org/p/anti-doping

And a list of the key updates, including the Pentathlon Education Strategy, and a libnk to the new version of the World Anti-Doping Code which has come into effect from 1st January 2021 can also be found here: www.pentathlongb.org/p/anti-doping
