In delivering the strategic plan for the sport in Scotland, the Board set a target of establishing six new Regional Hubs by 2025, duly accredited to the governing body.
We have now acheieved this target with 7 Hubs now established and our intention is to continue to grow the network further during 2023 – 2024.
We lead on establishing a range of coaching and competitive opportunities for existing and new participants.
Regional Hubs are currently located in Aberdeen, Angus, Scottish Borders, Edinburgh, Fife on the Isle of Mull and Stirling. During the next 12 months we will be further expanding our Hub network, with exciting options being progressed across Scotland to grow engagement and develop participation in our sport.
The focus of each Hub is, through the local Co-ordinators, to arrange training and coaching sessions, events and competitions and through implementation of our communications strategy, ensure opportunities for engagement in activities are widely disseminated, including contact with local schools, Active Schools & teachers
